Dear Diary,
All I have this iPhone. I really don’t want to invest in a lot of equipment to make my pictures and videos. Despite all of that I’m doing the best I can to put out quality work.
I’m not a professional photographer/videographer. I’m just doing what I can to give my buyers what they want.
~faking it until I make it
Let’s talk about another thing that is very important to your business.
I’m talking about video/picture quality. We all know the struggle of trying to get that perfect picture or video. I know I’m not the only one who has taken a picture over until
I got the “perfect” one.
Just know that if that’s what you do it’s okay. There is no need to go out and buy a ton of equipment. Most people have a smart phone now days. It’s a matter of learning how to make it work for you. You will have to learn how to set your picture/video quality so that they look as good as possible.
I’m telling you now there is no need to spend a ton of money to get quality. Let’s face it many of us don’t have that type of money, especially when starting out.
Here are some tips to do that.
- Take pictures/videos in HD 1280p
- Record videos in landscape mode NOT picture mode: I learned this after I got started.
- Start recording after 3 seconds. End videos after 3 second has passed. Doing it this way makes it so you can just cut it off during editing.
- Use a tripod of some sort to record videos/take pictures (you can find a very cheap stand on Amazon I use the one I have for my iPad.)
That’s it. Now go ahead and start creating.
Until next time…
